How to prepare Thomspson Farms Products?

ANY FULLY COOKED ITEMS Wrap item completely in tin foil, place in 350 degree oven.  After 30 minutes, check to see if heated completely, depending on thickness at least 30 minutes.

SMOKED SAUSAGE    Preheat oven to 350 degrees, put sausage on a baking pan and bake 10-15 minutes until nice golden brown.

BACON Preheat oven to 400 degrees.  Layout bacon on cookie sheet.  Bake first side 8 minutes, turn bacon and cook until desired crispness.

SLICED TENDERIZED HAM Place frying pan on medium high heat, add two tablespoons oil, cook first side five minutes until light brown, flip to other side and repeat.

PULLED PORK BARBECUE Snip one corner of the bag to open, place in microwave for four (4) minutes, heat and serve.

FRESH SAUSAGE Place in skillet on medium high heat, add ½ cup water, cook covered for about 10 minutes, turn and cook uncovered until nice golden brown on both sides.

FRESH PORK CHOPS To grill or Bake in oven at 400 degrees:   Season with favorite seasoning (rosemary and garlic or Italian dressing).  Cook each side approximately 10 – 15 minutes depending on thickness.

SMOKED PORK CHOPS Heat oven to 350 degrees.  Place pork chops in deep baking pan.  Pour 12 ounces coca-cola over top.  Cook first side 15 minutes, flip and cook other side 15 minutes.

 

1. What does "all-natural" mean?

For food to be labeled all-natural, the growers must follow a specific protocol. We do not allow growth hormones, steroids or antibiotics. No overgrazing is allowed and no animal by-products are permitted in the feed. The hogs are free range and pasture raised. No chemical herbicides or synthetic pesticides or fertilizers are allowed in the pasture.

2. Do you have spicy sausage patties and links?

Yes! When ordering sausage from our web site, you can choose, fresh sausage, patties or links and each is available in mild, medium or hot.

3. Is it safe to purchase using a credit card?

Absolutely! You will note that when you enter the shopping portion of our website, the URL changes to https://shop.... the S indicates a secure server and proof of our secure SSL certificate is at the bottom of the web page. We accept all major credit cards.

4. Can I order by phone or fax?

Yes, you can call us at 229-263-9074 or fax your order form to 229-263-8296

5. How much does it cost for shipping?

We ship all our products in a cooler with ice packs via UPS. The cost is based on the total weight of your order, which will be automatically calculated and added to your order during the checkout process. Average shipping charges are between $5 and $10.

6. Can you ship to PO boxes?

No, we cannot ship to PO Boxes because all our items are shipped cold via UPS.

7. Can I order your products as a gift and have them sent to a friend or family memmber?

Yes. During the checkout process, you will be promted to "ship to the same as billing address" or not. Choose no, and then enter the address to which you want your entire order shipped. Note: single orders cannot be shipped to 2 addresses.

8. How long does it take to process and ship orders?

In order to ensure you are receiving the freshest product available, we ship on Mondays, Tuesdays and Wednesdays and delivery by UPS is 48 hours or less. If you place an order after 12:00 noon on Wednesday, your order will be shipped on the following Monday.
